Charles Spittal Robb (b. 1939) was VA Lt Gov 1978-82 + Governor 1982-86 + 2-term U.S. Senator 1989-2001. Married LBJ's daughter Lynda Bird Johnson at the White House 1967. Survived 1991 "Virginia Beach" sex+drug scandals (denied wrongdoing). Defeated Oliver North 1994. Father-in-law tensions with LBJ are the subject of multiple LBJ biographies.
