Thomas Howard Kean Sr. (b. 1935) was New Jersey Governor 1982-1990. Co-chair (with former U.S. Rep Lee Hamilton) of the 9/11 Commission 2002-04, the most respected post-tragedy investigative body in modern U.S. history. Drew University president 1990-2005. Father of NJ State Sen Tom Kean Jr. (now U.S. Rep NJ-7).
